٥٨٤٩ - د: عمرو بن أبان بن عثمان بن عفان الأموي المدني. روى عن جابر بن عبد الله، وأبي غطفان بن طريف المري. روى عنه: الزهري وعبد الله بن علي بن أبي رافع الملقب عبادل. ذكره الزبير بن بكار في أولاد أبان، وقال: أمه أم سعيد بنت عبد الرحمن بن هشام. روى له أو داود حديث جابر: "أوى الليلة رجل صالح". قلت: ذكره ابن حبان (¬١) في الثقات وقال: روى عن جابر ولا أدرى أسمع منه أم لا.
