    ٥٨١٥ - ق: عمر بن المثنى الأشجعي الرقي (¬١١).روى عن: أبي إسحاق السبيعي الخراساني. وعنه: عمر بن عبيد الطنافسي، وسلام بن سليمان المدائني، والعلاء بن هلال الباهلي. ذكره أبو عروبة في الطبقة الثالثة من تابعي أهل الجزيرة روى له ابن ماجه حديثًا واحدًا في المسح على الخفين. قلت: قال العقيلي (¬١): عمر بن المثنى حديثه غير محفوظ روى عن قتادة روى عنه بقية بن الوليد كذا ذكره ويحتمل أن يكون هو المذكور هنا.
