    ٥٧٠٦ - ت: عمر بن حفص بن صبيح (¬٢) ويقال: بزيادة عمر بين حفص وصبيح أبو الحسين الشيباني اليماني (¬٣) البصري. روى عن: أبيه، وابن وهب، وابن مهدي، وأبي داود الطيالسي، ويحيى القطان، وحجاج بن نصير، والعلاء بن عمرو الحنفي، وغيرهم. وعنه: الترمذي، وابن خزيمة، والبجيري، وجعفر بن أحمد بن محمد بن الصباح الجرجرائي، ومحمد بن الليث الجوهري، ومحمد بن يعقوب الخطيب الأهوازي، وأبو عروبة الحراني، وغيرهم. ذكره ابن حبان (¬٤) في الثقات مات في حدود سنة خمسين ومائتين واحتج به ابن خزيمة في صحيحه.
