    ٥٦٥٤ - س ق: عمار بن أبي فروة الأموي مولى عثمان أبو عمرو المدني روى عن: الزهري. وعنه: يزيد بن أبي حبيب. قال البخاري (¬٩): لا يتابع في حدثه وذكره ابن حبان (¬١٠) في الثقات وقال ابن عدي (¬١١): ما أقل ما له من الحديث ومقدار ما يرويه لا أعرف له شيئًا منكرًا. له عندهما حديث: "إذا زنت الأمة". قلت: وذكره العقيلي (¬١٢) وابن الجارود في الضعفاء (¬١٣).
