٥٦١٠ - ق: علي بن محمد بن أبي الخصيب (¬٦) القرشي الكوفي وقد ينسب إلى جده. ووى عن: وكيع، وأبي أسامة، وعمرو بن محمد العنقزي، وابن عيينة، ويحيى بن عيسى الرملي، ومحمد بن عثمان. روى عنه: ابن ماجه، وأحمد بن هارون البرديجي، وإبراهيم بن متويه، وأبو جعفر بن الحاجب، وأبو العباس أحمد بن سالم الشافعي، وأبو بكر بن أبي داود، وأبو محمد بن أبي حاتم (¬٧)، وقال: سمعت منه بالكوفة ومحله الصدق وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات (¬٨) وقال: ربما أخطأ. قال الحضرمي مات سنة ثمان وخمسين ومائتين.
