٥٤٩٦ - ص ق: علي بن ثابت الدهان العطار الكوفي. روى عن: الحكم بن عبد الملك، وسعاد بن سليمان، وأبي مريم عبد الغفار بن القاسم، وأسباط بن نصر، وعلي بن صالح بن حي،وعمرو بن أبي المقدام، وفضيل بن عياض، ومنصور بن الأسود، وعدة. وعنه: أحمد بن عثمان بن حكيم الأودي، وعبد الأعلى بن واصل بن عبد الأعلى، والعباس بن جعفر بن الزبرقان، ومحمد بن عبيد بن عتبة الكندي، ومحمد بن منصور الطوسي، وأحمد بن يحيى الصوفي، وأحمد بن إسحاق الحمار، وأبو عمرو بن أبي عزرة، ومحمد بن غالب تمتام، وآخرون. ذكره ابن حبان (¬١) في الثقات وقال الحضرمي: مات سنة تسع عشرة ومائتين.
