    ٥٣٨٥ - س ق: عطاء بن فروخ (¬١٠) مولى قريش حجازي. روى عن: عثمان بن عفان، وابن عمر، وابن عمرو. وعنه: يونس بن عبيد، وعلي بن زيد بن جدعان. ذكره ابن حبان (¬١١) في الثقات وقال: عداده في أهل المدينة كان انتقل إلى البصرة. روى له النسائي وابن ماجه حديثًا واحدًا عن عثمان "رحم الله رجلًا صهلًا مشتريًا وبائعًا"الحديث، قلت: ذكر علي بن المديني في العلل: أنه لم يلق عثمان ﵁.
