٥٣٥٨ - بخ س: عريان (¬٣) بن الهيثم بن الأسود بن أقيس بن معاوية بن سفيان بن هلال بن عمرو بن جثم بن عوف بن النخع النخعي الكوفي الأعور. روى عن: أبيه، ومعاوية، وعبد الله بن عمرو، وقبيصة بن جابر الأسدي. وعنه: عبد الله بن مضارب، وعبد الملك بن عمير، ومحمد بن شبيب الزهراني، وهلال بن خباب، والوضي العوذي، وعلي بن زيد بن جدعان. قال ابن سعد: كان من رجال مذحج وأشرافهم ولي الشرط لخالد القسري بالكوفة وقال ابن خراش: جليل من التابعين وذكره ابن حبان (¬٤) في الثقات. له عند النسائي حديث واحد في المتنمصات.
