٥٣١٨ - د: عثيم بن كثير بن كليب الحضرمي ويقال: الجهني حجازي وقد ينسب إلى جده. روى عن: أبيه عن جده أنه أسلم فقال له النبي ﷺ: "ألق عنك شعر الكفر". وعنه: محمد بن مسلم الجوسق، وعبد اللّه بن منيب، وإبراهيم بن أبي يحيى، وابن جريج، وقيل عن ابن جريج: أخبرت عن عثيم بن كليب عن جده. قلت: إنما قال البخاري (¬٨) في تاريخه: قال ابن جريج أخبرت عن عثيم وكذا قال ابن حبان (¬٩) روى ابن جريج عن رجل عنهوقال ابن ماكولا: روى عنه إبراهيم بن أبي يحيى فسمى جده كلابًا وروى عنه عبد الله بن منيب فقال: عثيم بن قيس بن كثير ونسبه الجوسق إلى جده فالله أعلم.
