٥٢٦٧ - د ق: عثمان بن عبد الله بن أوس بن أبي أوس واسمه حذيفة الثقفي الطائفي. روى عن: جده، وعمه عمرو، والمغيرة بن شعبة، وسليمان بن هرمز. وعنه: إبراهيم بن ميسرة، وعبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن يعلى، ومحمد بن سعيد الطائفيون، وأبو سعيد بن عوذ الله المؤدب. ذكره ابن حبان (¬٤) في الثقات. له عندهما حديث في وفد ثقيف.
