٥٢٤٦ - د: عثمان بن زفر الجهني الدمشقي. روى عن: محمد بن خالد بن رافع بن مكيث: وقيل عن بعض بني رافع بن مكيث عن رافع حديث "حسن الملكة" وعن هاشم عن ابن عمرو عن أبي الأسد السلمي وعن أبي عبد الله البصري. روى عنه: بقية بن الوليد، ومعمر بن راشد ولم يسمه قال: حدثني رجل من أهل الشام من أهل الخير والصلاح إن شاء الله عن الحارث بن رافع عن أبيه وسمع منه بقية في حدود سنة ثمان وعشرين ومائة وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات.٥
