٥٢١٤ - د س: عتبة بن محمد بن الحارث بن نوفل الهاشمي ويقال: عقبة وخطأه أحمد. روى عن: عمه عبد الله بن الحارث وابن عباس، وعبد الله بن جعفر بن أبي طالب، وكريب مولى ابن عباس. وعنه: ابن جريج، ومصعب بن شيبة، ومنبوذ بن أبي سليمان المكي، وعبد الله بن مسافع على خلاف فيه. قال النسائي: ليس بمعروف وذكره ابن حبان (¬٤) في الثقات. له عندهما حديث تقدم في عبد الله بن مسافع. قلت: رجح ابن خزيمة أن اسمه عتبة.
