٥١٩١ - د: عتاب بن عبد العزيز الحماني (¬١٠) البصري. روى عن: جدته صفية بنت عطية ورحال القريعي. وعنه: أبو بحر عبد الرحمن بن عثمان البكراوي، وأبو قتيبة سلم بن قتيبة، وعلي بن نصر الجهضمي الكبير، ويزيد بن هارون، وأبو عبيدة الحداد، وأبو عاصم. وذكره ابن حبان (¬١١) في الثقات. روى له أبو داود حديثًا واحدًا من رواية صفية عن عائشة ﵂ في التمر والزبيب. قلت: وفرق ابن حبان (¬١٢) في الثقات بين الراوي عن جدته وبين الراوي عن الرحالفقال في الراوي عن الرحال: يروي عن الرحال المقاطيع والصواب أنهما واحد.
