٥٠٠٠ - خ م د س: عبيد الله بن الأسود ويقال: ابن الأسد الخولاني ربيب ميمونة. روى عنها، وعن زيد بن خالد الجهني، وابن عباس ﵃. وعنه: بسر بن سعيد، وعاصم بن عمر بن قتادة، ومحمد بن طلحة بن يزيد بن ركانة، ذكره ابن حبان (¬٦) في الثقات. له عندهم حديث: "لا تدخل الملائكة بيتًا فيه كلب ولا تصاوير". وعند الشيخين: "من بنى مسجدًا". وعند (د) في الوضوء. قلت: المراد بقوله: ربيب ميمونة أنها ربته، فقيل: كان مولاها لا أنه ابن زوجها. قال المنذري: وكذا وقع في رجال الموطأ لابن الحذاء، وأفاد أن الذي سمى أباه الأسود هو: الليث بن سعد.
