٤٩٧٦ - س ق: عبد الوهاب بن سعيد بن عطية السُلَمِيُّ أبو محمد الدِمَشقِيُّ المفتي المعروف بوهب. روى عن: إسماعيل بن عاش، وابن عينة، وشعيب ابن إسحاق، وعبد الرحمن بن زيد بن أسلم. وعنه: شعيب بن شعيب بن إسحاق، وعباس بن الوليد الخلال، وعبد الله بن عبد الرحمن الدارمي، وعمر بن مضر بن عمر العنسي، ويحيى بن عتاب الحمصي، ويعقوب بن سفيان الفارسي. ذكره ابن حبان (¬٢) في الثقات. وقال أبو زرعة الدمشقي: مات عبد الوهاب بن سعيد المفتي السلمي الذي يقال له: وهب سنة ثلاث عشرة ومائتين. وكذا أرخه يعقوب بن سفيان.
