    ٤٩٤٨ - مد: عبد الملك ابن أخي عمرو ابن حريث.عن: النبي ﷺ مرسلًا. وعنه: حصين بن عبد الرحمن (¬١). قال ابن أبي حاتم (¬٢): عبد الملك بن عمرو بن الحويرث: ويقال عمرو بن عبد الملك بن الحويرث، ويقال عبد الملك بن سعيد بن حريث ابن أخي عمرو بن حريث: قلت: قال البخاري (¬٣) في تاريخه الكبير: عبد الملك بن عمرو بن حويرث. قال هشيم: سمعت خصيفًا. قال عباد بن العوام: أخطأ هشيم هو عمرو بن عبد الملك بن الحويرث، وقال شعبة: عبد الملك ابن أخي عمرو بن حريث. وقال سليمان بن كثير: عن حصين عن عمرو بن عبد الملك بن حويرث المخزومي ابن أخي عمرو حديثه في الكوفيين. وذكره ابن حبان (¬٤) في الثقات معتمدًا على ما قال سليمان سواء.
