    ٤٨٤٢ - عس: عبد الغفار بن الحكم الأمَوِيُّ مولاهم أبو سعيد الحَرَّانِيُّ. روى عن: فضيل بن مرزوق، وقيس بن الربيع، والليث القرشي، والمبارك بن فضالة، والوليد بن مسلم، وغيرهم. وعنه: عمرو الناقد، ويزيد بن سنان أبو فروة، وأبو إسحاق الكوفي بياع السابري، ومحمد بن يحيى الذهلي، ومحمد بن يحيى بن كثير الحراني، وغيرهم. ذكره ابن حبان (¬٣) في الثقات وقال: مات في آخر يوم من شعبان سنة سبع عشرة ومائتين.
