٤٦٧٧ - د ت س: عبد الرحمن بن مسعود بن نيار (¬٦) الأَنْصَارِيُّ الْمَدَنِيُّ. روى عن: سهل بن أبي [حثمة] (¬٧). وعنه: خبيب بن عبد الرحمن. ذكره ابن حبان (¬٨) في الثقات. وروى جعفر بن إياس عن عبد الرحمن بن مسعود عن أبي هريرة في فضل الحسن والحسين فلا أدري هل هو هذا أو غيره. له عنده حديث واحد في الخرص في الزكاة. قلت: وقال البزار: معروف. وقال ابن القطان: لكنه لا يعرف حاله. ولهم شيخ آخر يقال له.
