٤٣٧٤ - ق: عبد الحميد بن زياد بن صيفي بن صهيب بن سنان التَيمِيُّ مولاهم ويقال عبد الحميد بن يزيد. روى عن: أبيه زياد بن صيفي، وشعيب بن عمرو بن سليم جميعًا عن صهيب في التشديد في الدين. وعنه: ابنه علي، وابن عمه ويقال ابن أخيه يوسف بن محمد بن صيفي، ويقال يوسف بن محمد بن يزيد بن صيفي وقال أبو حاتم (¬٨): شيخ روى له ابن ماجه حديثًا واحدًا. قلت: وذكره ابن حبان (¬٩) في الثقات فقال: عبد الحميد بن صيفي، ثم ذكر الخلاف فيه وإن في رواية يوسف بن محمد عنه عبد الحميد بن زياد بن صيفي وسأوضحه في ترجمة ابن صيفي.
