    ٤٣٤٦ - مد س ق: عبد الأعلى بن عدي البَهْرَانِيُّ (¬٦) الحِمْصِيُّ. روى عن: النبي ﷺ مرسلًا، وعن ثوبان، وعبد الله بن عمرو، وعتبة بن عبد السلمي، وعن يزيد بن يسرة بن حلبس وهو من أقرانه. وعنه: أخوه عبد الرحمن بن عدي، وابنه محمد بن عبد الأعلى، والأحوص بن حكيم، ولقمان بن عامر وحريز بن عثمان، وصفوان بن عمرو، وأبو بكر بن أبي مريم. قال أبو داود: شيوخ حريز بن عثمان ثقات وذكره ابن حبان (¬٧) في الثقات. وقال يزيد بن عبد ربه: مات سنة (١٠٤). قلت: وقال ابن القطان: لا تعرف حاله في الحديث وكان قاضي حمص وذكره أبو نعيم في الصحابة وقال ذكره محمد بن عثمان بن أبي شيبة في الوحدان: ولا أدري تصح له صحبة أم لا.
