٤٣٠٩ - ت ق: عبد الله بن يزيد الدمشقي. روى عن: ربيعة بن يزيد. وعطية بن قيس. وعنه: أبو عقيل عبد الله بن عقيل. قال أبو القاسم بن عساكر: فرق البخاري بينه وبين عبد الله بن ربيعة بن يزيد وهما عند (د) واحد. قال المزي: والصواب ما صنع البخاري إن شاء الله تعالى. قلت: وقال الجوزجاني (¬٣): عبد الله بن يزيد: روى عنه ابن عقيل أحاديث منكرة نقله ابن عدي عنه (¬٤) وقال: لا نعرفه له به وذكره ابن حبان (¬٥) في الثقات مفردًا عن ابن ربيعة تبعًا للبخاري.
