٤٠٤١ - د ت: عبد الله بن علي أبو أيوب الإفريقي الكوفي الأزرق. روى عن: صفوان بن سليم، وعاصم بن بهدلة، والزهري، وأبي إسحاق السبيعي، وزيد بن أسلم، وابن المنكدر وجماعة. وعنه: موسى بن عقبة، وهو من أقرانه، ويحيى بن زكرياء بن أبي زائدة، وعبد الرحيم بن سليمان، ومروان بن معاوية، وأبو فروة يزيد بن سنان، وأبو يوسف القاضي. قال أبو زرعة: لين في حديثه إنكار ليس بالمتين. وذكره ابن حبان (¬٥) في الثقات. قلت: وقال الدوري (¬٦) عن ابن معين: ليس به بأس.
