٤٠٣٧ - ت س: عبد الله بن علي بن الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب الهاشمي. روى عن: أبيه وجده الأكبر علي بن أبي طالب مرسلًا، وجده لأمه الحسن بن علي بن أبي طالب. وعنه: عمارة بن غزية، وموسى بن عقبة، وعيسى بن دينار، ويزيد بن أبي زياد. ذكره ابن حبان (¬١) في الثقات، وقال: أمه بنت الحسن بن علي بن أبي طالب. قلت: وصحح الترمذي حديثه، والحاكم وهو من روايته عن أبيه وأما روايته عن الحسن بن علي فلم تثبت وهي عند النسائي من طريق موسى بن عقبة، عن عبد الله بن علي، عن الحسن بن علي فإن كان هو صاحب الترجمة فلم يدرك جده الحسن بن علي لأن والده علي بن الحسين لما مات عمه الحسن ﵁ كان دون البلوغ.
