٣٩٤٣ - ق: عبد الله بن عاصم الحماني (¬٦) أبو سعيد البصري. روى عن: محمد بن دأب المديني، ومهدي بن ميمون، وعثمان بن مقسم البري، وقزعة بن سويد وأبي المقدام هشام بن زياد، والحمادين، وصالح المزني، وعبد الله بن المثنى وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو حاتم، وأبو زرعة، ومحمد بن أيوب بن الضريس، ويوسف بن موسى، وأحمد بن نصر النيسابوري، وإسماعيل بن حبان بن واقد الثففي، ومحمد بن غالب تمتام وغيرهم. قال أبو زرعة وأبو حاتم (¬٧): صدرق. وقال محمد بن مسلم بن وارة: سمعت أبا الوليد الطيالسي وذكر عبد الله بن عاصم فقال: كان يحيى ولم أره ذكره بسوء وذكره ابن حبان (¬٨) في الثقات له عنده "من كتم علمًا".
