٣٩٠٩ - بخ د: عبد الله بن أبي سليمان الأموي مولى عثمان أبو أيوب ويقال: اسمه سليمان. روى عن: جبير بن مطعم حديث: "ليس منا من دعا إلى عصبية" وعن أبي هريرة في تعظيم القطيعة. وعنه: محمد بن عبد الرحمن المكي وخزرج بن عثمان السعدي، وأبو المقدام هشام بن زياد، وإسحاق بن عثمان الكلابي، وحماد بن سلمة وغيرهم. قال ابن أبي حاتم (¬٥): سألت أبي عنه فقال: كان من أكابر أصحاب حماد بن سلمة يعني مشايخه قلت: ما حاله قال: شيخ. وذكره ابن حبان (¬٦) في الثقات. وقال أبو داود عقب حديثه: هذا مرسل، عبد الله بن سليمان لم يسمع من جبير.
