٣٨٩٨ - د: عبد الله بن أبي سفيان مولى ابن أبي أحمد حجازي. روى عن: أبيه وعدي بن زيد الجذامي، وعدي بن جبيرة الأشهلي، ويزيد بن طلحة بن ركانة. وعنه: إبراهيم بن إسماعيل بن أبي حبيبة، وسليمان بن كنانة مولى عثمان، وعيسى بن كنانة، وابن إسحاق وإبراهيم بن أبي يحيى وغيرهم. ذكره ابن حبان (¬١٢) في الثقات.روى له: أبو داود حديثًا واحدًا في حمى المدينة. قلت: زعم ابن عدي: أنه يروي عن جماعة من الصحابة، وأنه مات سنة تسع وثلاثين ومائة. وقال ابن القطان: لا يعرف حاله (¬١).
