٣٦٨٠ - تمييز: عباس بن الحسين البلخي أبو الفضل سكن بغداد. روى عن: أسود بن عامر، وعبد الله بن داود الخريبي وابن نمير، وعبد الصمد، ومحمد بن عبد الله الأنصاري، وأصرم بن حوشب. وعنه: محمد بن عبد الله الحضرمي مطين وأحمد بن الحسن الصباحي، وأحمد بن محمد بن خالد البراثي، والحسين بن إسماعيل المحاملي، ومحمد بن مخلد، وقال: مات سنة ثمان وخمسين ومائتين وقال الخطيب (¬٩): ما علمت من حاله إلا خيرًا.
