    ٣٥٣١ - بخ م س: طلق بن معاوية النخعي، أو غياث الكوفي، جد الذي قبله. روى عن: شريح القاضي، وأبي زرعة بن عمرو بن جرير. وعنه حفيده حفص بن غياث، وسفيان الثوري، وشريك القاضي، ومحمد بن جابر السحيمي. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات (¬٧). له عندهم حديث في من مات له ثلاثة. قلت: نسبه ابن خلفون فقال: طلق بن معاوية بن الحارث بن ثعلبة، كان معاوية ممن شهد القادسية. وفي الأربعين للجوزقي عن عمر ابن حفص بن طلق بن معاوية بن الحارث بن ثعلبة وكان ممن شهد بدرًا.
