٣٢٧٦ - س: شعيب بن يحيى بن السائب التجيبي العبادي أبو يحيى المصري. روى عن: نافع بن يزيد، والليث، وابن لهيعة، وحيوة بن شريح، وغيرهم من أهل مصر، وعن مالك. روى عنه: عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن عبدالحكم، والحارث بن مسكين، ويوسف بن سعيد بن مسلم، وبكر بن سهل الدمياطي، وغيرهم. قال أبو حاتم (¬١): إسماعيل بن [الجرح والتعديل: ٤/ ٣٢٨]: شيخ ليس بالمعروف وقال ابن يونس: كان رجلًا صالحًا غلبت عليه العبادة توفي سنة إحدى عشرة وقيل: سنة خمس عشرة ومائتين وذكره ابن حبان (¬٢) في الثقات قلت: وقال: إنه مستقيم الحديث واحتج به ابن خزيمة في صحيحه.
