٣١٣١ - خ: سهيل بن عمرو بن عبد شمس بن عبد ود بن نصر بن مالك بن حسل بن عامر بن لؤي القرشي العامري أبو يزيد من مسلمة الفتح. روى عنه: من كلامه المسور بن مخرمة، ومروان بن الحكم، وكان ممن خرج مع النبي ﷺ إلى حنين، ثم أسلم بالجعرانة، وكان يقال له: خطيب قريش وكان ممن أسر ببدر، ثم فدي، وكان صحيح الإسلام، وخطب بمكة بمثل ما خطب به أبو بكر بالمدينة عند وفاة رسول اللّه ﷺ، وكانوا هموا أن يرتدوا فسكن الناس، ثم خرج سهيل بأهله وجماعته إلى الشام مجاهدًا واستشهد ومات من معه إلا ابنته هند فإنها بقيت بالمدينة وفاختة بنت عتبة بن سهيل رباها عمر بن الخطاب ﵁ وزوجها عبد الرحمن بن الحارث بن هشام (¬٢). من اسمه: سواء
