٣٠٨٢ - د ت س: سمي (¬٢) بن قيس اليماني. روى عن: شمير بن عبد المدان، عن أبيض بن حمال أنه وفد إلى النبي ﷺ فاستقطعه الملح الذي بمأرب. روى عنه: ثمامة بن شراحيل، أخرجه أبو داود، والترمذي، وذكره ابن حبان (¬٣) في الثقات قلت: وأخرجه النسائي أيضًا في السنن الكبرى من طريقه وأخرج له حديثًا آخر بهذا الإسناد في حمى الإراك وقال ابن القطان الفاسي: لا تعرف له حال.
