٣٠٠٥ - خ س: سليمان بن صالح الليثي مولاهم أبو صالح المروزي المعروف بسلمويه ويقال: اسمه سليمان بن داود. روى عن: ابن المبارك، وعلي بن مجاهد، وفضيل بن عياض، وأوس بن عبد الله بن بريدة. وعنه: محمد بن عبد العزيز بن أبي زرمة، وعمرو بن يحيى بن الحارث الحمصي، وإسحاق بن راهويه، وحامد بن آدم، وأبو علي محمد بن علي بن حمزة المروزي، وقال: كان ابن المبارك يخصه بالحديث سمع منه نحو ثماني مائة. حديث مما لم يقع منه في الكتب. مات قبل سنة عشر ومائتين وكان جاوز مائة سنة. قلت: وذكره الشيرازي في الألقاب ووصفه بالنحوي وقيل: إن اسمه سلمة.
