٢٧٨٥ - د: سعيد بن عمرو الحضرمي أبو عثمان الحمصي المعروف بالبابوني (¬٢). روى عن: إسماعيل بن عياش، وبقية وبكر بن مهاجر، ومحمد بن شعيب بن شابور. وعنه: أبو داود، وأبو أمية الطرسوسي، ومحمد بن عوف الطائي، وسليمان بن عبد الحميد البهراني، وعبد الكريم الديراعاقولي، قال أبو حاتم (¬٣): شيخ وخلط صاحب الكمال (¬٤) ترجمته بترجمة سعيد بن عمرو بن سعيد بن أبي صفوان وقد فرق بينهما ابن أبي حاتم وغيره وهو الصواب. قلت: سمى أبو علي الجياني في شيوخ أبي داود جده سعيدًا فكأنه ظنه الماضي وهذه النسبة ما عرفتها لم يذكرها ابن السمعاني (¬٥).
