    ٢٧٢٩ - ت: سعيد بن سفيان الجحدري (¬٧) أبو سفيان ويقال: أبو الحسن البصري ويقال: إنهما اثنان. روى عن: داود بن أبي هند وكهمس بن الحسن وابن عون، وعبد الله بن معدان، وهشام الدستوائي، وغيرهم. وعنه: محمد بن بشار، ومحمد بن المثنى، وزيد بن أخرم، وعقبة بن مكرم، ويزيد بن سنان نزيل مصر وغيرهم. قال أبو حاتم (¬٨): محله الصدق، وقال البخاري (¬٩): بلغني عن علي بن عبد الله قال: ذهب حديثه وقال: وحدثني إبراهيم بن بسطام قال: مات سنة (٤) أو خمس ومائتين وقال ابن حبان (¬١٠): في الثقات: كان ممن يخطئ حمل عليه علي بن المديني وليس من سلك مسلك الأثبات ثم لم يتعر من الخطأ استحق الحمل عليه.
