٢٦٨٤ - ق: سعيد بن حريث (¬١٣) بن عمرو بن عثمان بن عبد الله بن عمر بن مخزوم القرشي المخزومي له صحبة. روى عن: النبي ﷺ: "لا يبارك في ثمن أرض أو دار إلا أن يجعل في مثله".وعنه: عبد الملك بن عمير وقيل: عن عبد الملك عن عمرو بن حريث عن أخيه سعيد بن حريث. قال الواقدي: يقولون أنه شهد فتح مكة وهو ابن (١٥) سنة مات بالكوفة (¬١). قلت: قال ابن حبان (¬٢): هو وأبو برزة الأسلمي قتلا ابن خطل وقال الزبير بن بكار: قتل بظهر الحيرة وقال أبو حاتم الرازي (¬٣): كان أكبر سنًا من أخيه عمرو.
