    ٢٥٣٦ - ت ص: زيد بن يثيع (¬٤) ويقال: أثيع الهمداني الكوفي. روى عن: أبي بكر الصديق، وعلي، وحذيفة، وأبي ذر. وعنه: أبو إسحاق السبيعي. قال الأثرم عن أحمد: المحفوظ بالباء، وقال الدوري: عن ابن معين (¬٥): قال شعبة عن أبي إسحاق عن زيد بن أثيل: قال ابن معين: والصواب يثيع وليس أحد يقول أثيل إلا شعبة وحده وذكره ابن حبان (¬٦) في الثقات. قلت: وقال العجلي (¬٧): كوفي تابعي ثقة وقال ابن سعد (¬٨): كان قليل الحديث.
