٢٢٠٦ - ت ق: رباح بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي سفيان بن حويطب بن عبد العزى العامري أبو بكر الحويطبي (¬٩) المدني قاضيها. روى عن: جدته عن أبيها وهو سعيد بن زيد بن عمرو بن نفيل، وعن أبي هريرة، ومحمد بن عبد الرحمن بن ثوبان.وعنه: إبراهيم بن سعد، وأبو ثفال المري وغيرهما. قال ابن عبد البر: أبو بكر بن حويطب يقال: اسمه رباح، ويقال اسمه كنيته روى عن جدته يقال: حديثه مرسل. له في الترمذي، وابن ماجه حديث واحد "لا صلاة لمن لا وضوء له". قلت: في حديثه عن أبي هريرة عندي نظر، والظاهر أنه مقطوع وذكره ابن حبان (¬١) في الثقات في أتباع التابعين، وقال الصريفيني قتل بنهر أبي بطرس سنة (١٣٣).
