١٩٧٩ - د س: خالد بن نزار (¬٥) بن المغيرة بن سليم الغساني مولاهم الإيلي. روى عن: إبراهيم بن طهمان نسخة، وعن مالك، والقاسم بن مبرور، والأوزاعي، ونافع بن عمر الجمحي، وابن عيينة، وابن أبي الزناد، ومحمد بن إدريس الشافعي وهو من قرانه وغيرهم. وعنه: أحمد بن صالح المصري، وأبو الطاهر بن السرح، وابنه طاهر بن خالد، ومحمد بن عبد الله بن عبد الحكم، وهارون بن سعيد الإيلي وجماعة. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات وقال ابن سعد: مات سنة (٢٢٢). قلت: بقية كلام ابن حبان يغرب ويخطئ وقال مسلمة بن قاسم: وثقه محمد بن وضاح، وقال ابن الجارود، في كتاب الآحاد: وخالد بن نزار أثبت من حرمي بن عمارة.
