    ١٨٧٥ - ق: حوثرة (¬٢) بن محمد بن قديد المِنْقَرِيُّ أبو الأزهر البَصْرِيُّ الوَرَّاقُ. روى عن: ابن عيينة، والقطان، وابن مهدي، ومحمد بن بشر العبدي، وأبي أسامة وغيرهم. وعنه: ابن ماجة، وابن خزيمة، وزكرياء الساجي، وابن جرير الطبري، وأبو حامد الحضرمي، وابن صاعد وغيرهم. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات (¬٣)، وقال: هو وإبراهيم بن محمد الكندي مات سنة (٢٥٦). قلت: وذكره أبو علي في شيوخ أبي داود، وقال روى عنه في كتاب بدء الوحي. من اسمه: حوشب
