    ١١٥٠ - ع: جندب (¬٤) بن عبد الله بن سفيان البجلي، ثم العلقي يكنى: أبا عبد الله له صحبة، وربما نسب إلى جده، ويقال: جندب بن خالد بن سفيان. روى عن: النبي ﷺ، وعن حذيفة. وعنه: الأسود بن قيس، وأنس بن سيرين، والحسن البصري، وأبو مجلز، وأبو عمران الجوني، وأبو تميمة الهجيمي، وصفوان بن محرز وغيرهم. قلت: وقال البغوي، عن أحمد: جندب ليست له صحبة قديمة. قال البغوي: وهو جندب بن أم جندب. وقال ابن حبان (¬٥): هو جندب الخير. وقال خليفة (¬٦): مات في فتنة ابن الزبير. وذكره البخاري (¬٧) في التاريخ فيمن توفي من السبتين إلى السبعين.
