١١٣٦ - ق: جمهان (¬١) أبو العلاء، ويقال: أبو يعلى مولى الأسلميين، وقيل: مولى يعقوب القبطي. يعد في أهل المدينة. روى عن: عثمان، وسعد، وأبي هريرة، وأم بكرة الأسلمية. وعنه: عروة بن الزبير، وعمر بن نبيه الكعبي، وموسى بن عبيدة. روى له: ابن ماجه حديثًا واحدًا في الصوم. قلت: ذكره مسلم في الطبقة الأولى من أهل المدينة، وذكره ابن حبان (¬٢) في الثقات وقال علي بن المديني: هو [جدُّ أمّي] (¬٣) وكان من السبي فيما أرى. من اسمه: جميع
