١٠٥٣ - س ق: جبر بن عتيك بن قيس الأنصاري أخو جابر. روى عن: النبي ﷺ في البكاء على الميت. روى عنه: ابنه عبد الله وعبد الملك بن عمير. قلت: ليس جبر بن عتيك هذا أخًا لجابر بن عتيك المتقدم، فإنه جابر بن عتيك بن النعمان بن عمرو بن عتيك من ولد زيد بن جشم بن قيس بن الحارث بن هيشة من بني عمرو بن عوف، وأخوه [بشير] (¬٦) بن عتيك صحابي معروف قتل يوم اليمامة، وقد جعل المزي في الأطراف جبر بن عتيك، وجابر بن عتيك ترجمة واحدة وهو وهم أيضًا.
