    ٩٨٨ - د س ق: ثابت بن وديعة، ويقال: ابن يزيد بن وديعة بن عمرو بن قيس الخَزرَجِيّ الأنْصَارِيُّ أبو سعيد المَدَنِيُّ، له ولأبيه صحبة. روى عن: النبي ﷺ. وعنه: البراء بن عازب، وزيد بن وهب، وعامر بن سعد البجلي، أخرجوا له حديثًا واحدًا في الضب. قلت: ذكر الترمذي في تاريخ الصحابة: أنه ثابت بن يزيد، وأن وديعة أمه. وقال العسكري: شهد خيبر، ثم شهد صفين مع علي. وقال البغوي، وابن حبان (¬١): سكن الكوفة. وقال ابن السكن، وابن عبد البر حديثه في الضب يختلفون فيه اختلافًا كثيرًا. قلت: وقد صححه الدارقطني، وأخرجه أبو ذر الهروي في المستدرك على الصحيحين.
