    ٨٤٩ - م ٤: بشر بن هلالٍ الصَّوَّافُ (¬٧) أبو محمد النُمَيرِيُّ البَصرِيُّ. روى عن: جعفر بن سليمان، وعبد الوارث بن سعيد، ويزيد بن زريع، ويحيى القطان وغيرهم. روى عنه: الجماعة إلا البخاري، وإسحاق الكوسج، وبقي بن مخلد، وحرب الكرماني، وابن خزيمة وأبو حاتم (¬٨). وقال: محله الصدق وكان أيقظ من بشر بن معاذ، وقال ابن حبان (¬٩) في الثقات: يغرب، وقال ابن أبي عاصم: مات سنة (٢٤٧). قلت: ووثقه النسائي في أسماء شيوخه وأبو علي الجياني في أسماء شيوخ أبي داود.
