٧٢٠ - ٤: إياس بن عبد المزني له صحبة كنيته أبو عوف. يعد في الحجازيين. روى عن: النبي ﷺ إنه نهى عن بيع الماء. وعنه: أبو المنهال عبد الرحمن بن مطعم. قلت: قال البغوي في المعجم: لا أعلمه روى حديثًا مسندًا غيره وروى عنه حديث موقوف وهو جد عبد الله بن الوليد بن عبد الله بن معقل بن مقرن لأمه. قال ابن المديني عن سفيان، وقال الأزدي وابن عبد البر: تفرد بالرواية عنه عبد الرحمن بن مطعم.
