٦٩٦ - س: أهبان الغفاري ابن امرأة أبي ذر وقيل ابن أخته. روى عن: أبي ذر حديث أي الرقاب أزكى. وعنه: حميد بن عبد الرحمن الحميري. قلت: وسماه ابن حبان (¬٣) في الثقات: أهبان بن صيفي ورد ذلك ابن مندة بعد أن عزاء للبخاري مع أن البخاري (¬٤) في التاريخ قد فرق بينهما والله أعلم.
