    ٥٦١ - ق: إسماعيل بن صبيح اليَشكُرِيُّ (¬٦) الكُوفِيُّ. روى عن: أبي إسرائيل الملائي، وأبي أويس المدني، وحماد بن سلمة، وزياد البكائي، وكامل أبي العلاء، ومبارك بن حسان، ويحيى بن سلمة بن كهيل وغيرهم. وعنه: أبو كريب، ومحمد بن عمر بن هياج، وابنه الحسن بن إسماعيل وغيرهم. ذكره ابن حبان (¬٧) في الثقات، وقال أبو بكر بن عياش: حدث المأمون نيفًا وأربعين حديثًا فأعادها رجل معه علي كلها ما أسقط حرفًا فقلت: من أنت؟ فقال المأمون: هذا إسماعيل بن صبيح فقلت: القوم كانوا أعلم بك. وقال مطين: مات سنة (٢١٧). قلت: ضبط عبد الغني بن سعيد إسماعيل بن يعقوب بن إسماعيل بن صبيح حفيد هذا بفتح أوله وهو مقتضى صنيع ابن ماكولا.
