٣٢٨ - تمييز: إبراهيم بن يزيد شيخ شَامِيٌّ. روى عن: عمر بن عبد العزيز وكان مع عروة بن محمد السعدي باليمن. وروى عنه: الأوزاعي، ورجاء بن أبي سلمة. ذكره البخاري (¬٩) وهو ممن يلتبس بالخوزي لكونه وصف بكونه مولى عمر وليس كذلك بل هذا آخر كان من حرس عمر بن عبد العزيز فأرسله إلى اليمن إلى عروة بن محمد السعدي عامل عمر بن عبد العزيز عليها فروى عن عروة أيضًا، ذكره محمود بن سميع في الطبقة الخامسة من أهل الشام، وقال ابن أبي حاتم (¬١٠) عن أبي زرعة: شيخ، وذكره ابن حبان (¬١١) في الثقات.
