    ٢٨ - خ: أحمد بن الحجاج الْبَكْرِيُّ الذُّهْلِيُّ الشَّيبَانِيُّ أبو العباس المَرْوَزِيُّ. روى عن: أبي ضمرة، وحاتم بن إسماعيل، وابن عيينة، والدراوردي، وابن مهدي وغيرهم. وعنه: البخاري وإبراهيم الحربي، والدارمي، وعلي بن عبد العزيز وجماعة. قال الخطيب (¬٢): قدم بغداد وحدث بها فأثنى عليه أحمد، وقال ابن أبي خيثمة: كان رجل صدق. قال البخاري (¬٣): مات يوم عاشوراء سنة (٢٢٢). قلت: وذكره ابن حبان (¬٤) في (الثقات).
