٢٣ - م: أحمد بن جعفر المعقريّ (¬٣) أبو الحسن نزيل مكة ومعقر ناحية من اليمن. روى عن: النضر بن محمد، وإسماعيل بن عبد الكريم بن معقل بن منبه. وعنه مسلم، والمفضل بن محمد الجندي، ومحمد بن إسحاق بن العباس الفاكهي المكي كان حيًا سنة (٢٥٥)، وذكر عبد الغني في ترجمته أنه روى عن سعيد بن بشير، وقيس بن الربيع وهو وهم فإنه لم يدركهما. قلت: إنما روى عن النضر عنهما، وقال اللالكائي: يكنى أبا أحمد.
